Anyone serious about operating as part of a PSD/SET (Bodyguard) Team in any high-threat environment should seriously consider attending our bespoke High-Risk Environment PSD/SET Training Course.

This course is ideal for you whether you are someone looking for a career change, former military, law enforcement or even currently working the circuit in a medium-level environment close protection role.

Entering into level five environments requires you to possess more advanced bodyguard skills, weapons handling skills and operational, situational, tactical and area of operation (AO) awareness. You must also learn to understand how to work with and deal with your principals.

Schooling You In The Relevant Subject Matter:
Make no mistake, this course has been designed by those of us operating in these environments. We know exactly what the companies who are recruiting for contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan etc are looking for in security contractors.

Due to the high risk of firearms related incidents that severely damage their reputations and risk loss of contracts such as those that have gripped the headlines in 2007 regarding unlawful shootings by PSD Teams, Private Security Companies (PSC's) are looking for well-trained, level-headed operators, not Rambo-wannabes.

Having an in-depth understanding of relevant the tactics, protocols and procedures and knowing when, where and how to implement them is a much sought after ability.

    Current Training, Tactics & Procedures:
We will ensure that you are fully-trained and current with all the training, tactics and procedures (TTP's) used today. Instilling in you the discipline to know when and when not to use your firearms correctly observing the escalation of force rules.

Our course has been written by actual PSD, AES, SET Team Leaders and Operators who have been operating in high-threat environments since 2003 and continue to do so. We are operational in areas such as South America, Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan and certain parts of SE Asia. Our PSD/SET Training Course will fully school you in all these areas and build upon any existing skills you may possess.

By operating in these completely different, level five environments, we are able to bring our wealth of knowledge to you on the PSD/SET course which will greatly assist you in remaining not only proactive and reactive, but also adaptive in your assessment and handling of the situations you find yourself in. This will be your greatest strength - to assess and make an educated and informed decision - this keeps you alive. Many of the PSD courses run by our competitors follow one set format, unfortunately level five environments by nature, do not.

Make no mistake, you will find yourself in hostile situations working at this level and by learning from our experiences you will be better informed and prepared to face them.

Over 50 PSD & SET Relevant Subjects:
The course covers over 50 PSD & SET-relevant subjects in theory and practical sessions. The hours are long but we believe in keeping the course relaxed due your need to fully absorb and readily recall what we are teaching you.

There will be plenty of time for sleep deprivation when you are operational as a qualified PSD & SET Operator. There are no military-style beastings on bump-you-in-the-middle-of-the-night exercises on our courses, just the daily unarmed combat sessions to get the pulse racing a little and assess / improve fitness levels.

The PSD & SET course is divided up into six main phases. Each phase has many subject lessons in theory and practical sessions which you must successfully complete in order to receive your course certificates. Overall, there are several certificates to aim for and on successful completion of all phases, you will also receive a overall course Certificate of Accomplishment as well as an in-depth course assessment, personal debrief and letter of recommendation.

Only successful students will receive a course pass. We do not give out commercial passes. Our students have to earn them by demonstrating ability, willingness, dedication to task and that something special. This is the highest level of Close Protection - are you up to the challenge. During the course we will invite you for two course progress interviews where we will tell you how you are doing or if you need to improve in certain areas. You will also be able to ask us questions and discuss any areas you are concerned with.

This assists you in reaching the standard you need to in time for your assessment periods towards the end of the course. Of course, you can approach us out-of-hours whenever you feel the need to do so - this does not affect your overall course report. We will tell you exactly how it is, we do not blow sunshine out of your backside just because you are on our course. If you need to improve in any areas then we will tell you.
