To Fallen
Friends: In memory of Andrew
'Drew' Dancaster,
RLT Team Leader - Mosul,
Northern Iraq 01st November 2007
Like myself, Andy was a
former Royal Marines
Commando working for a
Private Security Company in
Iraq. He was sadly killed by
a roadside IED whilst
returning from a tasking in
Iraq.
Andy was fulfilling a very
worthwhile and rewarding
role as an RLT
(Reconstruction Liaison
Team) Team Leader
assisting the US Department
of Defence in the
reconstruction efforts of
Iraq.
I only knew Andy for a short
time, but as with the
sort of environment we were
working in, he became a very
good friend and he was an
excellent and professional
operator. He was always
willing to help others and
always led by example. His
excellent sense of humour
and obvious intelligence was
ever present even in most
arduous and adverse
conditions.
There are no words that can
equal what we feel in our
hearts as we think of his
family during this time of
great sorrow and our
thoughts do indeed go out to
them. Let them know that
they can be proud of their
son and he will always be in
our thoughts. Laters Royal. |

In
memory of Noah
Stephenson 14th
January 1977 to
October 19th 2006.
Noah was ex 3 Para
and did nearly seven
years with the Red
Devils. He was an
awesome Skydiver, in
addition Noah was a
CSI, Tandem and AFF
instructor and
expert freefall
cameraman for the
team.
Noah was
married in May 06 to
Susan and joined
Erynis Iraq that
month. He was killed
on October 19th 2006
along with two
others by a roadside
bomb.
Noah has left a wife
and daughter Lottie
who is now 4. He is
immensely missed and
so loved. |

memory of Chaz
Crawford
PSD Team - Iraq 2005
I met Chaz on a PSD
Training Course that
I was the Chief
Instructor on in
2005. He was an
ex-US Army Airborne
Ranger who had
attended the course
after his friend and
fellow Ranger had
and gone onto work
as a PSD in Iraq.
Chaz was killed when
an SVBIED crept up
on their static
convoy and
detonated, fatally
injuring Chaz.
I will always
remember him as a
keen and
enthusiastic student
who I had the
pleasure of training
and befriending. I
pray he has found
peace now and his
family can be very
proud of him, he was
an excellent
operator and a good
friend, he will
never be forgotten. |
