Calling All Close Protection
Professionals: |
Later this year, ESTS will be
releasing a website dedicated to the
training and working issues related
to the Close Protection Industry
worldwide. The website will cover
issues such as inadequate training
of some of the PSD and SET Operators
currently working in high-threat
environments, CP Employment and
associated concerns, writing the
right CV, the credibility of
companies in both pre-deployment
training and working & living
environments in-country.
We are also looking for examples of
the experiences you have faced
whilst working in this industry,
whether they be good or bad
experiences. Remember, this website
will be dedicated to the
professionalism of the close
Protection Industry as a whole -
it's your place to say what you wish
(as long as it's relevant and can be
proven).
What we are looking for is input
from existing Operators, not just
those working in Iraq and
Afghanistan, but CPPO's working in
European countries, the USA, SE Asia
and so on at all threat levels. What
we are looking for is an unbiased
and professional approach to dealing
with Close Protection at all levels
and you are the ones who can make an
